Lunar Imaging

These images date back to the early 2000's using my first ever "point-and-shoot" digital camera - a Kodak DC80 (2MP). The technique employs afocal photography, using a simple eyepiece mount combined with a Meade 10inch LX200. The full disc images are mosaics hand stitched in Photoshop (there was no auto-stitching software back then). The technique was so successful I've never felt the need to reshoot the moon with more modern gear
